Outlet Settings
An outlet's Settings screen configures that outlet, and it sits under the outlet's name in the sidebar. Every tab applies to that outlet alone, which is what lets two outlets in one property trade differently. Editing needs the Manage Outlet Settings permission.
Identity
- Outlet name: what staff and guests see.
- Slug: the outlet's segment in its online ordering URL.
- Invoice prefix: the prefix on documents this outlet issues.
Currency
- Bill currency: the currency the outlet actually bills in. It does not have to be the property's base currency.
- Display currency: optional. A second currency the bill can be shown and paid in.
- Sell rate: how much bill currency one unit of the display currency buys.
The sell rate is guest-facing only
The sell rate prices the bill in the display currency and converts display-currency payments into bill credit. Revenue recognition and profit and loss always use the property's valuation rate, so a generous sell rate is a pricing decision, never an accounting one.
Charges
The charges every bill at this outlet carries: each has a name, a type (service charge, tax or other fee), a rate and what it applies to, the subtotal or the running total. They apply top to bottom, so a tax on the running total compounds on the rows above it. They are the outlet's own, separate from the property's booking charges under Taxes & Charges. Open orders use the current charges. Once you choose Bill out, the order keeps its quoted charge names, rates and total until it is reopened. A settled bill never changes, and a removed charge is switched off, never deleted.
An outlet's stack is its own
An outlet does not inherit the property's booking charges. If the outlet is not selling with the right tax on it, this tab is the first place to look.
Payment methods
Tick which of the property's payment methods this outlet accepts. Each is shown with its settlement type, and card fee costs come from the method's own linked charges rather than being re-entered here.
An outlet with nothing ticked can only take room charges, and the tender dialog will say so.
Receipt
The printed receipt's own details: address, phone, tax registration number, footer text, a bank account and its label, a payment note, and up to two logos as PNG or JPEG.
Table orders
Guests order from the QR code on their table, for restaurant outlets:
- Auto-accept table orders: send a new table order straight to the kitchen instead of waiting for a cashier to accept it in the Table orders panel.
- Earn loyalty with an Earn rate, so table orders accrue points.
The QR codes card prints one code per table. Newly printed codes keep working when you rename a table; older codes that contain only its label need reprinting after a rename. A code opens the ordering page for that table, and the order it places sits on that table: the floor shows the table occupied, the kitchen ticket names it, and staff settle the bill from the table like any other order. While a table has an open order, its code sends guests to a member of staff instead of taking a second order. Staff accept or reject a table order before they can add to it, send it to the kitchen or bill it out; rejecting one voids the guest's lines and frees the table. Nothing is paid online: the bill is settled at the table. A property whose Outlets module is off, and an outlet with no tables (a shop, a spa, activities), has no ordering page.
Printers
Printers apply to restaurant outlets. Two printer roles are configured per terminal: the Receipt printer and the Kitchen (KOT) printer. A claim is granted by the browser to that machine, so each terminal claims its own printers, and claiming again on a different machine does not disturb the first.
