Reports
The Reports page is where you analyze your property's financial performance and export data for accounting, tax filing, and management reviews. Open it from Reports in the property sidebar. The page is built from a Financial Overview, a guest-nationality globe, and a series of report cards, each of which you can filter to its own date range.
How the date picker works
Most sections on this page have their own date picker, so you can analyze different time ranges side by side. Each picker offers quick presets and a custom range calendar:
- All Time — from the property's creation date to today.
- Today
- This Week
- Last 7 Days
- Last 30 Days (the default)
- This Month
- Last Month
To pick a custom range, open the picker and select a start and end date on the calendar. Charts and totals update automatically when the range changes. The picker button always shows the active preset and the exact dates it covers.
Financial Overview
The Financial Overview at the top of the page shows four headline metrics for the period you select with its date picker:
- Revenue — total revenue for the period, with the percentage change versus the prior period of the same length.
- Occupancy — the percentage of available rooms that were occupied, with the change versus the prior period.
- ADR — Average Daily Rate, total room revenue divided by the number of rooms sold, with the change versus the prior period.
- RevPAR — Revenue Per Available Room, total room revenue divided by all available rooms. This card also shows the number of room nights sold in the period.
These cards give you the top-line summary; the report cards below break each area down in detail.
The same Occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR metrics appear on your home Dashboard in the Occupancy · ADR · RevPAR widget. Use the dashboard widget for a quick glance and the Reports page when you need a specific date range, a breakdown, or an export.
Guest Nationalities
The Guest Nationalities section shows an interactive globe with your guests' top countries of origin across all time (it is not affected by the date pickers). It lists the total number of guests, how many countries they came from, and a ranked top-ten list with each country's share. Drag the globe to rotate it. This view is useful for marketing, language support, and understanding your guest mix. If there is no nationality data yet, the section is hidden.
Report cards
Below the overview, each report card has its own date picker so you can analyze it independently.
Occupancy & Revenue
Daily trends over the selected period, shown as two line charts:
- Occupancy Trend — daily occupancy percentage, with the average occupancy for the period.
- Revenue Trend — daily revenue, with the total for the period.
Use this card to spot seasonal patterns, weekday-versus-weekend swings, and whether occupancy and revenue are trending up or down.
Tax Breakdown
A breakdown of taxes collected by type for the selected period, shown as a distribution chart and a per-tax amount chart. Taxes are split into Exclusive (added on top of the rate) and Inclusive (already contained in the rate) totals, with a grand total of everything collected.
This card supports exports for accounting and compliance. Use the buttons at the top of the card:
- CSV — downloads a spreadsheet with each tax's name, type (Inclusive or Exclusive), total collected, and transaction count.
- Excel — downloads a formatted workbook that includes your property's name, address, and tax registration number alongside the figures.
- Green Tax — appears only for properties in the Maldives, and produces the Maldives Green Tax return workbook.
Tax figures depend on how your taxes are set up. If a tax looks wrong or is missing, confirm the property's tax settings and registration details in Property settings.
Revenue by Source
Revenue segmented by booking source for the selected period, shown as a donut chart of revenue share and a ranked bar chart of revenue per source. The card also shows how many active sources and reservations contributed. Use this to see which channels (Direct, OTA, Corporate, and any custom sources) drive the most revenue.
Payments
A breakdown of money collected by payment method for the selected period, shown as a distribution chart and a per-method chart. The card shows the grand total collected and the number of transactions. Use it to reconcile takings and understand how guests prefer to pay.
For transaction-level detail behind these totals, review individual folios and settlements. See Payments and settlements.
Booking Sources
A performance comparison across booking sources for the selected period. It shows a radar chart comparing each source on revenue and reservation volume, plus a revenue bar chart, with totals for reservations and revenue. This is the foundation for distribution-strategy discussions: it shows which sources bring the most bookings and the most money, so you can judge whether a channel earns its commission.
